February 2021 seems like a lifetime ago, yet somehow feels like just yesterday.
I was pregnant with our oldest, the pandemic still brought many unknowns — especially for small businesses — and Albert and I were working our full-time corporate jobs.
Naturally, we decided it was as good of time as ever to start our business, SoDak Stays (at that time called Huizing Properties).
Since that time, we’ve onboarded more than 20 properties, streamlined our business operations, and even became parents to two (soon to be three) kids!
It takes a village
Running and growing our own short-term rental company is hard work, but we believing creating one-of-a-kind experiences for people and working for ourselves is one of the most rewarding experiences.
As our business grows, we continue to rely on others to help us create the top-notch guest experience for those visiting our properties. Our cleaners, inspectors, and property owners all do their part in making SoDak Stays as successful as it is.
